Vintage Carpet bag with bamboo handle 1940s
This lovely Carpet handbag is in wonderful condition. I do not know the origin, but Gucci bags with bamboo handles were very popular in the 40s. However no maker stamp on this bag. The quality of this carpet bag is truly beautiful. Very minimal age wear. No tears inside or out. The outside measures 12" x 7" x 5". The interior measures 9" x 6" x 5". Slight discolouration on the gold metal kiss type closure. Inside and out terrific. The lining almost feels like soft leather not plastic like vinyl.
