It is so great when you can share with old friends. You call them or they call you and you just pick up from where you left off. I love that. There doesn't have to be oh I'm sorry I haven't called or you are stumbling over excuses as to why you haven't been in contact with them. Really it is just life, everybody gets caught up in there own existence and what they are doing in their day to day lives. That is okay that is what we are suppose to do. Take care of your self and your own little inner circle which includes yourself. If you aren't taking care of yourself, how can you even begin to think of taking care of others. I believe you're true friends are the ones that you just start sharing what has been going on, like you just talked yesterday. This brings me to my Melissa!! I use to babysit her when she was a little girl. Her family lived next door to ours. We actually lived in the middle of two sisters. I babysat for both famlies it was great. Anyway two years ago and a lil more I got in touch with Melissa's Mom and then Melissa. Lee was in Canada at the time recording. So Melissa and I hadn't spoken for 30 years. We laughed and cried and caught up and then she and her boyfriend came to visit Lee and I for Christmas. I tell you what that was one of the best Christmases ever. I couldn't stop hugging and kissing her. Talk about Chritmas Magic. It was fabulous. She I have to say has grown into and incredible woman. She just celebrated her 50th b-day you would never believe it. She looks like she is in her 30s. Life is so great like that. I am so blessed to be able to have her back in my life. She is one of the coolest chicks I know. If you are reading this Melissa it is true you are awesome. I am so thankful for you.
